Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park

I started as a furry lion dancing in shows and moved up to handling schedules for 23 employees and running up to seven shows a day as either a stage manager or a audio technician.

The Story:

I when in to KKAP and applied for the job of audio technician and started my job a week later as the furry lion that walked around the park and dancing in shows. I worked hard at that job. I was a seasonal employee, but that year there was a lot of employees that left at the end of the season including the department head. I remained on to be one of the longest employed seasonal employee way into the winter shutting down the dept. The next year was like a whole new environment.

A new department head meant reapplying for a job, but apparently there was some pressure from some of the higher ups in the corporation for me to be rehired, which made me feel good that I had made a good impression on someone. I stayed for two more years starting as a "real" audio technician and finally a department supervisor and stage manager.

Here are a few pictures available at this time
